Marc Papell Puigferrer, Degree in Economics & Business Administration and Master in Business Administration by ESADE BUSINESS SCHOOL, Post degree in Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence by Open University of Catalonia
Now Marc is Partner and Senior Consultant at Cluster Development developing tasks of management and consulting position in a wide range of projects in various industries leading and developing Strategic cluster development projects in Spain. Before that Marc was Senior Consultant and Knowledge Manager at The Cluster Competitiveness Group, S.A.
In terms of project work, has participated and led as senior consultant in Competitiveness Reinforcement Initiatives and Strategic Cluster Development Projects in a wide range of industries such as:
Automotive Plastics cluster in Andalucia, Food Cluster in Catalonia, ITC Clusters in Navarra, Castilla y León and Asturias, 4 Furniture clusters of 3 provinces of Andalucía (Spain), Mobility cluster in Catalonia, Farm Machinery cluster in Catalonia (Spain), Aeronautics cluster in Catalonia (Spain), Health cluster mapping in Catalonia (Spain), Pharmaceutical industry cluster in Barcelona (Spain), Biotech research cluster in Catalonia (Spain), Toy industry cluster in Valencia (Spain), Furniture industry cluster in Valencia (Spain), Shoe industry cluster in Valencia (Spain) and Construction Materials cluster in Lerida (Spain). Also Marc has developed Regional Innovation Plans in Catalonia.
 
Also Marc, has participated in international projects as strategy consultant in Brazil and Thailand: Strategic analysis of the Home textiles cluster in Ibitinga (Sao Paolo - Brazil), Strategic analysis of the Shoe cluster in Jau (Sao Paolo - Brazil) and Cluster Development Agents Training Program in Bangkok (Thailand Government).
 
Additionally, Marc has been responsible for the design and implementation of several company information systems as a Business Analyst and Project Manager for several Virtual Marketplaces in industries such as Ceramic Tiles (Spain & Italy), Textiles (Spain), Plastics (Spain), Motorcycles (Spain) and Furniture (Spain). And he has been responsible of the design, development  and implementation of the Cluster Manager Software Tool AND Cluster Competitiveness Report Software tool for cluster monitoring.
