A Mexican citizen entered to the Inter-American Bank of
Development in 1996 as a Specialist for the Multilateral Investment
Fund, MIF (private sector window). Currently, he holds the position
of Multisector Specialist in the Country Office of the IDB in Mexico
City.
Mr. Bustamante has worked in the design, execution and evaluation of
programs for different sectors, likewise he, has taken part in the
design and administration of diverse projects of the private and
public and social sector under the programs of lending (borrowing)
within the Bank, as well as of the program of the Multilateral Fund
of Investments (MIF-FOMIN). Previously, Mr. Bustamante worked as a
Researcher for the Latin American Database at the University of New
Mexico in the United States. He has written diverse articles in
several Economics topics for the IADB, and for other specializing
magazines.
Mr. Bustamante graduated as Economist from the University of México
(UNAM) holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the
University of New Mexico (USA) and holds a PhD in Public
Administration from the University of México (UNAM).
