Javier Allard is actually the CEO of AMITI, the IT Mexican
Industry Association, that represents the most important IT
companies that are operating in our country (265 companies),
including hardware manufacturers and vendors, software developers
and vendors, service providers, integrators, and channels.
AMITI mission consists in taking the leadership in the private
sector of the IT and Communications Industry, to transform it in the
main competitiveness habilitator working together with Government,
Academy and Social Sector.
Javier Allard has more than 35 years of experience in the Industry,
in important positions such as PC Company General Manager in IBM
Mexico, Sales and Marketing Director in SkyTel Mexico, and
Executive Director in Satélites Mexicanos, SatMex.
His actual position as CEO of AMITI has allowed him to promote
important projects and initiatives that have impulsed and developed
the IT Industry in our country.
In addition, Javier Allard is member of ALETI, the Latinoamerican IT
Industry Associaton; member of the Consultancy Council of Expocomm;
member of the IT Technical Committee of IMEF, the Mexican Institute
of Finances Executives; member of the Council of the IT
Academy-Industry -Government -Society Council, and member of the
International Software and Engineering Executive Committee (CIISA).
