Jean-Francois BOISSON is a French Citizen born in 1944.
He holds a Master of Electronics, a PhD of Business Management
from Paris-Dauphine University, and an advance marketing award from
HEC.
He has 40 years of business experience mostly for Software producers
and Professional Services enterprises. He was deputy general manager
of Gemini France, strategic planning VP of Bull’s Group for
office and telematic businesses, and Business Unit VP of Gemplus for
security and professional services businesses.
He was one of the founder of the aerospace cluster since 2004. He
define the strategic positionning of this cluster, the market
approach, and the business objectives. He is currently in charge of
the business development of the aerospace cluster Pegase in Provence
French Riviera with a strong involvement for international
cooperation, fund raising and employment. He is administrator of the
cluster.
He participate to the Roissy Charles’ de Gaulle specifications for
process controls systems as Aeroport de Paris team member. He has
develop a system to control small rockets perfect launch. He specify
for the DGAC how to better organize the technical library for
airplanes manufacturing.
He launches and he was strongly involved in more than 30 European
funded research large projects. He receives 3 international awards
for his implementations of research : IPR electronic management,
teleworking, eBusiness network.
He has created with success three companies that he sold to Bull and
Gemplus. His main skill is the launching of new business activities
or services mainly by the move from Product approach to Solution
approach which integrate both professional services and partnership
approach.
He recently publish several papers in the field of services,
industry transformation and the leverage of international
partnerships.
He is senior advisor to the Chamber of Commerce of Marseille as well
as the Union of Marseille's enterprises (Medef) in charge of
innovation and competitiveness. He was the initiator of the cluster
momentum in Provence since 2001.
He is fluent in English with a long experience of international
cooperations.
He is expert toward the European Union Commission and he has
performed several international missions.
